Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Arlo Digital (“we”, “us”, or “our”), accessible via arlodigital.com. By engaging our services, submitting an intake form, or interacting with our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.


2. Scope of Services

Arlo Digital provides customized backend systems for solo service providers, including but not limited to:

  • Online booking setup

  • Branded intake forms

  • Email automation templates

  • Business dashboards

  • Review request automation

  • Tech support and consulting services

The scope of work for each client is defined in the agreed-upon package or service agreement. Any work outside that scope may require additional fees.


3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful delivery, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information required to complete your setup

  • Respond to feedback requests, approvals, or questions in a timely manner

  • Supply branding assets (e.g., logo, colours, preferred wording) when applicable

  • Respect project timelines and communication channels

Failure to provide required materials may delay the project or result in additional fees.


4. Payment Terms

  • A 50% deposit is required to begin work

  • The remaining 50% is due prior to delivery of your completed system

  • Payment methods accepted: E-transfer, Credit Card, or PayPal

  • Late payments may incur a fee of 2% per month (or the maximum permitted by law)

We reserve the right to pause or withhold delivery of services until all outstanding payments are made.


5. Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the custom nature of our services:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun

  • Cancellations made after delivery of initial materials or intake work will not be eligible for a refund

  • If you cancel prior to project kickoff, we may refund your deposit at our sole discretion

All refund requests must be submitted in writing.


6. Ownership and License

Upon full payment, you have full rights to use the systems we build for your business.
However:

  • Arlo Digital retains the rights to any templates, frameworks, or proprietary systems used in the process

  • You may not resell, distribute, or repurpose our materials without written permission


7. Service Timelines

Standard turnaround for the full backend setup is 10–14 business days from the kickoff call, provided client materials are submitted on time.

Delays due to client inaction may result in project rescheduling or administrative fees.


8. Support and Maintenance

All packages include 30 days of complimentary tech support after delivery.
After this period, support is available:

  • At a rate of $75/hour

  • Or via a monthly consulting retainer (e.g., $79/month, 12-month minimum)

You will be notified before support transitions to paid status.


9. Limitation of Liability

Arlo Digital is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Service interruptions

  • Third-party tool failures (e.g., Zapier, Google Forms, MailerLite)

  • Client misuse or unauthorized modifications to the systems

We do not guarantee increases in business, revenue, or client acquisition as a result of using our services.


10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
Changes will be effective upon posting to this page and will be communicated via email or a notice on the website if they are material.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
